The following positions are currently open for Spring 2010:

Full or Part Time Teaching Assistant

 

Quail Hollow is looking for passionate individuals who are excited for the opportunity to contribute in building a program from the ground up. Candidates must genuinely enjoy guiding younger children, consulting with parents and possess the following criteria:

• Minimum one year experience working with children ages 0-6 in an educational setting.
•  
  Experience in Reggio Emilia and/or Learning through Play preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents and the school community.
• Willingness to receive training, feedback, and guidance from the Director. 
• Commitment to personal/professional growth and development.
• Bilingual in Spanish or French is preferable.
• Art background also useful. 

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and implementing an IB, Reggio Emilia curriculum.
  Orientation to the Reggio Emilia philosophy and principles will be provided.
•  
  Documenting the development and behavior of students.
• Communicating with other staff in planning, implementing and responding to the needs of students.

Part Time Cook

We are currently looking for a part-time cook to develop and lead our food program.  Candidates must enjoy cooking for children and possess the following criteria:

• Minimum 2 years experience working in a professional kitchen.
• Commitment to cooking wholesome healthy food.
• Excellent orginizational skills and sanitary habits.
• Timelimess.
  

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning meals in accordance with Montana State guidelines for childcare facilities.
• Preparing snacks and and lunch.
• Ordering food and maintaining following budget guidelines.
