About Us
Quail Hollow is a nonprofit cooperative school following the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood development. In September of 2007, Quail Hollow Cooperative Day School opened its doors as a full-day, year-round school welcoming families and children from birth to 6 years.
Hailed as one of the best preschools in the world by Newsweek magazine in 1991, the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education has attracted the worldwide attention of educators, researchers and just about anyone interested in early childhood education best practices. Our teachers strive to create a superior program full of enriching experiences. Unlike other philosophies the teachers of Reggio Emilia believe that excellence in early childhood development is not about preparing children for learning but about helping children interpret the world around them and to turn those interpretations into meaningful experiences.
